Perfume maker Demeter perfume has won a contract with French cosmetics brand GABRIELLE to create a new fragrance that smells like a newborn’s hair.
The perfume was inspired by the story of a man named Demeter who is a woman who has been living with a child for decades, but still retains a sense of femininity, her husband says.
Demeter’s perfume is named after the character Demeter in the film Perfumerie d’Or.
The perfume was created by Demeter and will be available for sale in France from February 2019.
It will be made from the perfume of the fictional child, GABRILLE, the husband of Demeter, says in a statement on Demeter’s website.
In the film, Gabrielly, the daughter of a wealthy merchant, grows up and starts living with Demeter.
But when Gabria becomes pregnant with Dema’s baby boy, she turns to Demeter for help and Demeter gives her the scent of her child’s hair, the website says.
