The first perfume I’ve tried from Philosophic, Red Door is a red door scent with a whiff of oakmoss.
The smell is very strong, almost a hint of minty goodness, with the scent of the oakmolere root on top.
I was initially very hesitant to try the fragrance, but it has a perfect balance of both oakmoles and minty notes, which make it really appealing to perfume aficionados.
The aroma is a bit stronger than the first impression, but not overly so.
It’s not overpowering and it doesn’t leave a harsh aftertaste.
Red Door’s philosophy perfume is available in the US from September 17.
